US Capitol Christmas Tree, US Forest Service (Seward, AK 2015)

Alaska Crane supported Choose Outdoors and the U.S. Forest Service to harvest the 2015 US Capitol Christmas Tree, a 74 foot Lutz Spruce harvested from the Chugach Forest.  This was a 2-crane pick using an AC395 DeMag 150T all terrain in the 100t configuration and an Altec 38/127 boomtruckto keep the tree from hitting the ground and to gently place it on to its travel cradle for its historic voyage back to Washington D.C.
